During surgery, the medical staff will adjust the height of the surgical light according to the doctor's position, ensuring that the light always remains focused on the wound. The L5 utilizes adaptive lighting technology to automatically adjust the distance, maintaining consistent focus on the surgical area.
Traditionally, adjusting the spot size of a surgical light involves turning on or off a portion of the LED bulbs, which reduces light intensity. However, deep-cavity surgeries like heart surgery require both a small spot size and high illuminance. The L5 features smart intensity technology, which allows the light to maintain its original brightness even when the spot size is reduced.
Most traditional surgical lights use PWM dimming technology, which can cause eye strain for surgeons and create waves during surgical recordings. The L5 adopts advanced DC dimming technology, controlling illuminance through voltage changes without the high-frequency flashes. This reduces eye strain and ensures smooth surgical recordings.
As a new generation surgical light, the L5 offers specialized lighting solutions tailored to different surgeries, including heart, orthopedics, endoscopy, spine, and obstetrics and gynecology operations. Surgeons can customize settings such as illuminance and spot size according to the specific needs of each procedure, with the option to save these settings for future use.
The L5 can accommodate the specific lighting needs of various surgeries. For instance, it offers high-intensity lighting for heart and burn surgeries, general lighting for superficial surgeries, and low-intensity lighting for endoscopic procedures. The L5 provides bright, normal, and endoscopic modes to meet these diverse requirements.
The L5 boasts a color rendering index (Ra) of up to 98, making it easier for surgeons to distinguish between tissues, organs, and bones with greater accuracy.
